The pier is ok for rides and games if you are in Seaside but the town is downfall. The pier is a big attraction for teens of driving age and after dark I do not find it to be kid...

Not bad if you are in Seaside 9/20/2005

The pier is ok for rides and games if you are in Seaside but the town is downfall. The pier is a big attraction for teens of driving age and after dark I do not find it to be kid or adult friendly. The rides are needing some overhaul to make it more of a place to go. more

Okay, but not as good as Casino Pier 8/14/2005

Funtown Pier is one of two long-time amusement piers at the Seaside Park boardwalk. Though it was a longtime favorite, it has not improved significantly, while its competition (Casino Pier) has gone through a thorough overhaul. Still, the rides are fun and not terribly expensive. If you can deal with the carny-like ride operators, you'll have a good time. more
