Funtime America

Having 3 of my 11 year old daughters parties at Funtime America in the Aberdeen/Cliffwood area of NJ all I can say is that there is no cleaner facility indoor or outdoor that can compete with Funtime and their Birthday packages are the best value going. The staff aspecially the party hostesses are fantastic and help make the experience memorable for the kids. You can see the awards given to them by the county and state as the best birthday party facility in NJ. Those are facts. more

guess the biggest problem is all the staff are high school kids. I never see anyone above the age of 18 working here. I looks like they are all there just to hang out. A lot of the games that require tokens do not work. Plus, the staff doesn't seem to care that they don't work (they could put a sign on them so you don't waste your time putting tokens in them). Plus, the place just looks very dirty. There's a huge climbing gym for kids that I wouldn't let my children near because: first, there was no staff watching the area (not even one person just to supervise), second, it just looked very dingy and dirty, and third, I saw a little girl climbing around with a piece of pizza in her hands.... and you know she got pizza on everything. This could be a great place for kids but it needs some serious TLC. We were going to have a birthday party for my son here, but after seeing the condition of the place... we chose to go somewhere else more

I am a complete kid at heart and I absolutely love playing laser tag, riding rides, climbing rock walls, playing arcade-type games, going to batting cages. Funtime America has all of these things and more. They provide a great, fun indoor amusement park for kids that is safe and not expensive. more

This is a fun indoor arcade place in the matawan area. They have rides there and the games are not expensive, with food areas and prizes. Its off the highway and easy to navigate to where its at. The games are interactive and all different kinds for various gamers and a small ride part of it. more

Funtime America is a very large indoor party area, with a small area for toddler age children. First of all, there is never any staff in the toddler area. I have had to always search them out, while toting the kids around. Additionally, the very large/tall tube play area is poorly lit. Very dark, I would not let my 3 year old play in there, she was scared. Also the toddler rides reek of urine. I have never seen any staff cleaning this area. They advertised a Mommy & Me class and whenever I called up to ask questions, they have no information. Just keep taking my name and number, promising to call me back. They never do of course. If its raining out and there's not much else to do, I'd much rather stay home and entertain the kids then take them to this rundown place. more
