Comfort Breakfast Food 7/17/2007

I love this place for breakfast. The portions are decent, and the food is good old-fashioned delicious. On sunny Sundays, sitting in this 50's dinner for waffles and OJ is the perfect way to end a lazy weekend. Check or cash only. more

Relaxing Sunday Breakfast 2/28/2007

We love to come to Fuller's for a cheap Sunday-morning breakfast. The coffee is great, and the atmosphere is fun. Home made breads and jams await. Arrive before 10am, as it gets pretty busy. Pros: Coffee, price, service Cons: Intimate seating more

Delicious inexpensive food at diner in the Pearl 2/15/2005

Aside from the diner decor and seating (stools inside & chairs outside on the walk weather permitting), this is one excellent restaurant. The service here is fast and competent. For such a tiny place, there is a large menu of options. Favorite items include their own baked white bread (egg muffin mixture) and dark wheat bread, chicken fried steak, hot beef sandwich, hamburger, and hash browns but everything Ive tried over several years of regular dining is at the very least good and reasonably priced (portions are huge too). Seating is limited and theres no good place to wait for seats to open, but theres usually room for one or two people to squeeze in (larger groups might need to wait outside). You can also purchase a loaf of the on-site baked bread too (the two mentioned above baked fresh daily, and loaves are often available to buy). Pros: large menu, delicious food, courteous service Cons: stool seating, sometimes drafty, metered parking more

The Best in American Traditional Cafes 3/15/2004

If you want a basic meal with no spared expense when it comes to homemade goodness with a side of friendly service and a whole lot of bar stools go to Fuller's Coffee Shop. You can seat yourself and choose from classic choices (I recomend the Reuben, a Burger or anything from the breakfast menu) and when they get there everything is piled high with fresh ingredients and laced with homemade breads and dressings. I reccomend this place 100% on every aspect. And if you really aren't a handsome tipper, you will be after this place! Pros: Inexpensive, Delicious and Quality, Great Service Cons: , Nada, Zilch! more

Yaaaawwwwnnn... 6/25/2003

There's a number of highly touted, long wait breakfast places, but only a few that deliver. This isn't one of them. The food certainly isn't bad, but very unexciting. The sausage in the omelets looked/tasted like cut-up frozen links. The hash browns were dry. Servers were nice, but a bit dingy. Mothers and Milos have dishes where many say, ""this is truly unique"" or ""the best I've ever had."" Don't hear people making such statements at Fullers. However, if you value the staff knowing your name and are attracted by nostalgia, then it's worth a visit. Cons: hash browns more
