Forget Whole Foods and come to this mom and pop health food store. You'll get good info and solid service. My girlfriend thinks they sell the best Vit C she's ever used. There's a small food counter too. Get some soup and a sandwich to stay or go. more

A wonderful source for organic foods and products. Their deli serves wonderful food. The staff is very helpful in choosing the correct product/vitamin/supplement. Pros: Reliable source for organic foods/products Cons: Closed Saturday but open Sunday more

This organic healthy market and restaraunt have The Best Egg salad and tuna melts ever!!!! They also have the Best side dishes EVer!!! After lunch go buy some extra healthy snacks for home! more

Good local health food store 11/11/2005

Full of Life is a great resource for health food grocery products and vitamin & mineral supplements. They are comparable in price to Whole Foods, but more expensive than the internet or VP Discount Vitamins (see review--also in Burbank). I have been very pleased with the quality of products they sell. Everything is fresh and the store is well laid out. The gentleman that works in the vitamin section is very friendly and knowlegable. They are also a great resource for gluten free and casein free products. I am so glad they are in Burbank! PROS: Good selection, knowlegable staff CONS: Not open on Saturdays more

Vast selection of organic food 8/3/2005

I really like Full O Life grocery. I like to feed my family organic food, and for years before organic food became trendy and readily available, I would purchase it from Full O Life. The have always had a large selection of organic fruits and vegatables, as well as many organic pre-packaged foods. I like the cashiers because they have personal experience with the products and are willing to share their experiences and recommendations. They aren't just minimum wage workers paid to stock the shelves. It's a very friendly atmosphere with great pricing. PROS: Lots of great organics CONS: None that I have discovered more

We won't shop here again 6/6/2005

They have expired food for sale. I stopped going for a while because of this. I talked to their buyer-he was very nice and apologetic...months after our talk I made another reluctant trip there. At home I discovered yet again the product had expired. more

this mother of all health food store was opened in 1959 and offers organis market as well as deli, dairy, restaurant and also book department. Nutritionists and naturopath are available for consultation daily. more

A Healthy Alternative 5/15/2002

I've been shopping at Full O' Life for over twenty years. It used to be a good place to get a Tiger's Milk bar, back before energy bars were a billion dollar business. My mom used to like to go there to get buy vitamins and healthy, organic produce. Though their selection is smaller than the many trendy chain stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, their friendly, knowledgable staff more than compensate. Unfortunately, they're closed all day Saturday. During the work week, they operate a delicious cafe inside. Modeled after an old-fashioned deli, there's a row of seats at the lunch counter and a handful of booths as well. Be sure to ask about the daily specials. When they are featured, the tofu enchiladas are out of this world. Carnivores need not worry, as there are plenty of meat options to choose from, even hamburgers!
