First of all, this restaurant just recently came under new ownership. Its always lively with a great family atmosphere. The restaurant was remodeled and has more of an modern contemporary japanese feel. Its a great place to take a date. The sushi chef is the star of this restaurant. They still have the original favorites, but the Chef, Alex, is a sushi artist. Not only will the food wow you eyes, it will melt in your mouth. If you are a sushi connoisseur I insist that you just sit down and say ""Omakase"". This word in Japanese basically translates into, ""Chefs choice"". The chef will prepare what is best in season and take you on a progression of tastes. Remember to give the chef some guidlines. Such as your likes or dislikes and your price range. Other than that just tell him when you're full. And don't forget the sake. One bite and you're hooked so do your stomach a favor and check it out.
Pros: They're open for lunch, the sushi chef, fresh fish
Cons: the bar fills up quick so get there early or after 8 p.m.
