Why so great??? 8/4/2004

I have a friend who RAVES about Fuddruckers. So, I went, with baited breath, for this awesome burger. Still waiting to see what all the hoopla is about. It was a burger. Not great, not bad, just a burger. Waitresses had to be hailed down, and it was 3 in the afternoon and there were people at ONE other table besides ours. I rate them AVERAGE only. Gotta do more that what they're doing to get a song and dance from me! Pros: clean, good freeway access Cons: , mediocre service, More hype/less taste more

The key to Fuddrucker's success is novelty. As a chain, it should not be considered for the ""Best Of"" in a local forum. The Fuddrucker's in Phoenix is very similar to Tucson, or Victorville CA for that matter. (Been to all...) Weak condiments and generic flavoring make for a tepid experience. The burgers there are large, and very delicious. The condiments are always fresh. The price is a bit on the high side and make this a rare treat. Best hours to go are in the late afternoon and late evening. Pros: Fresh, Delicious, Nostalgic Atmosphere Cons: Pricey, Often Crowded more

Value for the price paid-just not there! 1/5/2003

Fuddruckers has just never done ""it"" for me...I have given it several chances over the course of the last several years, thinking that maybe that it was just an ""off"" day for the restraunt. Everytime I went it seemed like everyone was wandering around aimlessly looking for something to put on the burger. Choices were generic, I can order any type of these burgers at another restraunt and not have to fix it myself! I have not been back since 1999. As much as the old lady in the Wendy's commercials made it clear that what makes a burger a good burger is... ""the BEEF"", Fuddruckers' buns sway me toward the middleground between the bun and the beef. Their buns are DELICIOUS. The beef is great too - don't get me wrong. I love it! Minus the mess of preparing your burger until the point that is crucial when you can pile as many onions and slices of pickles or lettuce upon your mouthwatering burger. The atmosphere is made for families and friends to gather for some good food. Oh, and kid friendly. more

This is the place!! When we want a GREAT Hamburger - we go to Fuddrucker's! We love the freedom to choose our own toppings, the staff members are always friendly and helpful. In addition to making their own beautiful buns, grinding their meat fresh daily and having the very freshest of produce always,, in addition to all that they build a bee-yoo-tee-ful sundae to top it all off! You get fresh meat and produce, no frills and not BS. Just a very good burger at a reasonable price. Great brownies for dessert. For the best burger and fries, you have to go to Britt's Place in Prescott. It's worth the drive. Pros: Everything's fresh, Plenty of it, Good prices Cons: Limited parking, Too many kids more
