The boat was great 11/15/2010

I went fishing aboard the Catch My Drift. The boat was great, ice cold a/c, very comfortable and they provided everything for us. When we got there, the price was only $30 per person which included fishing gear, licenses, bait, and everything. They didn't sell anything on the boat for food, but you could bring your own and they had coolers for you to put stuff into. more

had a fantastic time.... 11/3/2010

My grandson, 6, and I went on "Catch My Drift" and had a fantastic time. The crew was attentive, changed bait when needed, helped my little guy with some fishing tips and the boat was also very clean. We did catch fish, but even if we hadn't, it still would have been a good trip. The captain changed spots when the fish weren't biting until we found a spot that was just right. Definitely will go out with that crew next time I'm visiting my grandson. more

I fish quite a bit, and I fished on a number of Vessels that includes: the Florida Fish Finder in key west, the Sea king and Marathon Lady in Marathon, capt. Sandy in islandmarada, the Gulfstream in Key largo , the Hurricane in Sunny Isles, and the Reward in Miami Beach. Headquarters top them all. I appreciated the clean and functioning restrooms, the A/C in the cabin and the service of the mates. you guys did a hack of a job impressing my wife and me. See ya soon. more

Highly reccomended. 8/30/2010

I would highly reccomend Fishing Headquarters to anyone looking for a fun activity in Fort Lauderdale. I've lived here in Fort Lauderdale for 10 years and I've been fishing with them for the past few years. They are always professional and friendly with me and my guests that I bring fishing with me. Their boats are the cleanest charter boats I've been on and I always have a good time fishing with them. We usually have a great catch with them and even when we don't I still enjoy spending the day on the water with these guys. Highly reccomended. more

As soon as I put my line in, I had a fish on 8/16/2010

The fishing was slow on the first drift we made. Only 2 guys caught fish and they were small. I think one was a snapper and the other fish was a trigger fish. Well, the captain said he was gonna try a little deeperr, so he moved the boat a little farther offshore. As soon as I put my line in, I had a fish on. I didn't know what to do, but the mate came right over and helped me catch it. It turned out to be a 10 pound kingfish. My daughter, a few minutes later caught a fish, I think it was called a bonida? I don't remember the name but it fought hard. A lot of the other people on the boat caught them too. more

awesome 8/13/2010

Trip started out with a 20 minute ride up the intercoastal waterway, where we saw some beautiful homes along the river. We got to take some pictures of some awesome yachts too. One of the yachts even had a helicopter on it. We headed out about a mile offshore and the captain shut down the engines. Mates gave us our bait and showed us how to use the rods. more

exciting for us 5/27/2010

I brought my son out on their Friday night swordfishing trip. Its the only place I ever heard of doing a trip like that. Price was very reasonable per person. Me and my son didn't catch one, but 2 swordfish were caught that night. Even though we didn't catch the fish, it was still exciting for us. When we got back, everyone got to take some of the fish home for dinner. Crew were very friendly and proffessional. I highly reccomend these guys. more

It was a highlight of our trip! 5/17/2010

We fished at 3 different spots, and there were lots of fish caught, though not a lot of keepers. Lots of grunts, eels, and some small snappers. I caught a scorpionfish! The crew was available for help and would bait the hooks if needed, and were willing to give me the kind of bait I wanted to use (squid eyes and tentacles). They were good about letting the customers doing the reeling in, and offered occasional verbal help- they did not take over.There was plenty of room inside to warm up or take a break. It was a highlight of our trip! more
