I miss the old fruit ranch, back in the 80's my father used to take me here every Sunday when I was a very young child after church and he always allowed me to get one piece of candy, normally I got the johnny apple seeds or the watermelon candies. We used to always get the ham and rolls with poppy seeds and they were so good. I came here every Sunday for at least 10 years and sadly the place closed. I remember when I was about 15 years old and heard that the place was going to close, right after my father passed away. At the time I was a paper-boy and I went to the store and purchased 100 lottery tickets in hopes to win a million dollars so I could purchase the Fruit ranch lot and keep them in business, sadly I did not win and the Fruit Ranch closed and that was the end of a family tradition that I hope would continuing on for more generations to come.
I will always miss this really nice family store and the friendly staff at the bakery. I'll never forget the logo either of the older man with the cowboy hat.
