a very bad dental experience 12/28/2011

Good: Staff at Caugfhlin Crossing Dentistry. Bad: Frugoli Larry S DMD charged for work not done .Frugoli took excessive and unecessary x-rays. Charged an elderly and ill patient $58.00 for toothpaste and $25.00 for duplicate x-rays. Patient's former dentist gave Frugoli duplicate x-rays no charge.. Improvements: Honest billing. Honest treatment of patients.. Other: March 2011 I went to Caughlin crossing Dentistry in Reno NV. for a chipped tooth repair. A new patient I told Dr. frugoli I was 75 years old, recently had a stroke and was taking medication dor other illnesses. Ignoring my objections plastic spoons were stuck in my mouth to better show my teeth to the camera. I was ordered to smile while several facial photos were taken. In 3 visits Dr Frugoli quickly ran up $2000.00 charges for x-rays, oral exams, teeth cleaning, toothpaste. My chipped tooth was not fixed. more
