Forget all other 'ice cream' stores, FROST Gelato is where it's at in NW Tucson. They don't pound it on a slab or release it out of a stainless steel barrel, nope, they do it the old Italian way: scoop it out of 30 or so pots of freshly made gelato.
After importing an Italian gelato chef to learn the secrets, Jeff and his partner have cornered the market on the best sweet treat in Tucson.
Located just south of Ina on Oracle and next to Sauce (another great spot) there is airconditioned seating inside or 'misted' seating outside.
The piccolo serving is quite enough but for 'piggies' try the next size up.
