I visit this market monthly and purchase my cheese. I have always enjoyed my visits until this past weekend. My husband and I were in front of the cheese coolers and a very rude young lady stepped right in front of us and started straightening the cheese. We would have purchased our cheese supply for the month, but our shopping was so rudely interrupted by this employee that it is possible we will not make this one of our stops again while visiting Butte. I would hope the business owners will take time to train their employees and let them know what keep there business afloat. more

It's not just a Market, it's an experience! 5/9/2008

This treasure of a place is a must when you come through Butte! It spurs the imagination, it fulfills whatever cravings you might have from sweets to sours! An institution and landmark business, a true gem on the Mining City's crown! I hope it always stays small and authentic. Pros: It's a surprise around every corner! Cons: Parking can be difficult on busy days. more
