I've searched everywhere for a Salon where I can feel comfortable, as well as a stylist who was willing to listen and to work with my hair. Phyllis only works on Thursdays and Fridays, but I find a way to get to her! Love this place. The atmosphere is comfortable without being stuffy. I've had my hair colored and cut here several times, and am planning on going for a pedicure and manicure in the near future as well. more

I made an appt for a simple up do. My appt. was at 1:30 pm. I was taken on time and my hair was set in curlers. I was then left for over an hour while my beautician did a full set of highlights on someone else. I have a shorter hair cut and she did not know what she was doing when she finally got to me. She ended up putting my hair up and realized she could not put it all up in the back which was fine. She led me to believe there was a nice flow from the portion of my hair that was up to what was down. I had pinned up "curls" (they really looked like knots) and then a very odd looking bob on the bottom of my head (which had a huge dent in it from the curlers). I am 30 years old and have had many up dos- I have NEVER taken one down. So I sat for 2 hours only to end up rushing at home to blow out my hair. I would never go back here- especially since she did a full set of highlights while I sat waiting. Unacceptable service and I would not recommend this place to anyone. more

This place moved from St. Georges Ave. a few years ago. My mom has been going on and off for close to 8 years. Recently I decided to try them again and I have found a good place to go. I really enjoy getting my hair done. The two beauticians I recommend are Noreen and Freddie. Those are the two that I would go to. I have never been to the other ones so I am unable to comment. They also have tanning beds so it is worth the trip. more
