Fritzl's is a northwest suburban institution. I am somome who prefers my own cooking insofar as I am a stickler for quality. Fritzl's delivers. The Hungarian style duck, which requires the proper type of oven for cooking, is superbly well done. The goulash soup is hearty and flavorful. Some of the side dishes could use a little tweaking, bit this is my only criticism. The food is consistently prepared, with minimal variation I.e. properly, seasoned, cooked and always served at the correct temperature. I am a very particular person and have never had a bad meal at Fritzl's.
