Great place to hang out and have some fantastic food. Try the Wiener Schnitzel and the german potato salad! The staff is always very friendly and quick. And the various festivals thru out the year are great! Large beer selection! more

you seem to step in to a different place. people from different parts all joined to have fun. you drink out of real germen bier mugs, and not pint glass. Pros: inside/outside seating. smoking allowed Cons: closes too early more

Screw Jack. My favorite spot in the Gables, hands down. Fantastic spot to catch futbol and rugby games. Best potato salad I've ever had in my life, no exaggeration. Chicken schnitzel is amazing, as well. more

... for the service and the food were really exquisite, for a very affordable price. Perfect for us students with a taste for the real thing. I loved the Goulasch Soup... I was present when Jack and his friends, a group of drunk medical doctors, insulted the restaurant management and staff. He and his drunk colleagues belittled and insulted the staff. In fact, it was they who called the restaurant staff " A bunch of dammed Natzis!"\r \r In my many years of dinning at Fritz and Franz, I have never experienced anything but great Austrian/German food and hospitality. I highly recommend the restaurant without hesitation more

I have been to the Bierhaus many times and found the service very polite and professional. The beer selection is one of the best in Miami and the Schnitzel, well that is the best I have tasted anywhere. But I also like the selection of sausages. I am a big fan of the Fritz & Franz Bierhaus and will be there many times more. Keep up the good work. more

I'm surprised by the bad reviews here. This place is amazing. The food is as close to Germany as you can get--- all the Germans I know in Miami are passionate about this place and claim that the food is the best they've had in the U.S. Definitely try the schnitzel, you won't be disappointed. The staff has always been overly courteous- in fact, we go about once or twice a month and as soon as they see us walk through the restaurant they put our order in (we are creatures of habit and always get the same thing). The place has average quality food and ok service. The food is not as good as what you would find in Europe, but it is edible. The owner, who is also the chef, is very abusive with his employees in front of customers. With our table he was very rude as well. The part that upset me the most were the Anti-American comments! He treats people in a disrespectful manner! Especially Americans! I still am in shock! Beware!!!! more

...this ""german"" restaurant kills the real German food!\r Our waiter was rude and the beer we asked for, believe it or not... WARM!!! They forgot to put beers in the refrigerator!!!!! Run away from it!! 1/23/2008

The food is horrible, the waiters are rude, overpriced.....annoying band that you just want to run away from this terrible waste of time......do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.....these people that gave nice reviews must be friends of the owner!!! It's so noisy inside, we went outside and it was hot as hell and we were ignored by the waiter for hours.....when the food came, it came out wrong...... Cons: everything about it more

Best Austrian / German restaurant in South Florida 3/15/2007

The Fritz & Franz Bierhaus is after three years still the best Austrian/German restaurant in town. There menu is great, over 25 German and Austrian Beers and a brand new extended quality Wine list. The rib and Beer Fest was a feast and we are looking foward to the Paella Fest and the Taste of the Gables.\r The web site, is up to date and very informative.\r Great for large parties. Live Music.. Pros: Great Food ,Great Service, Great Live Europian Soccer, easy Parking Cons: 6 more month of Construction next door. more

Best Schnitzel in South Florida 6/21/2005

The food is fantastic and the service one of the best. The Wiener Schnitzel is the best I have had in South Florida. The Live music on the weekend is great Thanks Bierhaus. A great place to have a party. Pros: Location, Food, Live music Cons: no valet parking, can't stop eating more
