Great for Catering 7/8/2008

I used Fritto Misto to cater a lunch for a client meeting and they were fantastic to work with. Not only that, the food was tasty and well priced. The catering manager helped me to pick out dishes that were appropriate for the crowd I was serving and everything was very well received. I will definitively be using them in the future! This place is very inviting, the service is amazing but the food is lacking. You are safe if you order a salad but you can get lettuce anywhere. I ordered a Fettucini Alfredo and while it was delicious, i spent the next few hours after dinner ""toosing my cookies"". Any time the Alfredo sauce isnt made fresh, it will make you sick, and i thought about this before ordering but i figured it would be okay. I was wrong!! I emplore you all to give Fritto Misto a try- they have a wide variety of options and you won't break the bank. You won't be disappointed! Pros: Great Service, Great Food, Great Selection, Great Value Cons: None worth mentioning. I could forsee parking being difficult on a weekend. more

Great, Inexpensive Italian 11/11/2007

Fritto Misto is a very low key, inexpensive Italian restaurant. My favorite dish is the Gnocchi! The service is good and there is rarely a wait for a table even though they are always busy. more

Never go wrong! 7/16/2007

I've been here numerous times and have never had a bad dish. Every plate there and even the ones we create is absolutely D-lish! The service is friendly and very accomodating, it's intimate without being crowded, small but open space. I love the decor too. Pros: Food, service, walking distance from beach, decor Cons: parking, long wait if no reservations more

Best Valued Italian in South Bay 11/19/2006

You may get better, you may get cheaper but the best value for your buck it is the best by far. If you dont know what you want, you can make your own dish up. the specials are awesome. Pros: menu selection, value, staff Cons: cant think of any. maybe a better wine selection more

I like this place. Its cheap and gives you a lot of options. They give you some good deals, too. The atmosphere is kinda cute. The servers are so-so. Overall, this place is just ok. Pros: good deals, variety Cons: if there no street parking, i park illegally at Becker's (after some browsing) or at Vons more

A Hermosa Favorite! 5/8/2005

Outstanding food. Packed every Friday and Saturday night, so make a reservation. Very accomodating for large groups. No corkage fee to bring in your own wine. My favorite menu item is the greens and gorgonzola salad with spicy chicken. Also love the raviolis. Pros: Bring your own wine, Great for groups, Inexpensive more

You Call That Italian? 12/31/2004

Eight of us ate at FM's last week and not one of us liked the Bolognese sauce. Everyone tried it. It was bitter, stuck like glue to the pasta and something that any Italian mother would have a good laugh at. It was not rich in flavor and lacked something. Something called ""flavor!"" I will never eat here again and I live around the corner from this restaurant! They need a good rich, meat sauce or a new chef!
