I Love My Violin Lessons 9/22/2010

Frisco School of Music is so much fun.\r \r Taking violin lessons is one of the best things I have ever done for myself!\r \r I am having so much fun. The concerts are great.\r \r A week without a music lesson just wouldn't seem right! more

They Really Take Care of My Kids 9/21/2010

As a musically challenged parent it has been incredible to watch the transition that has taken place in my kids over the last two years. \r \r They make learning music both easy and fun. \r \r The Frisco School of Music has a lot of good elements like friendly teachers, good location and a pleasant and supportive atmosphere that other places don't have. more

Much Better Than In Home Lessons 9/21/2010

I took lessons with a company offering in-home lessons before coming to the Frisco School of Music.  \r \r Although they offered the convenience of in-home lessons, the quality of their teachers was lacking. They charged less too, but the teachers I got didn't seem to know what they were doing (and we tried several).  \r \r I have received the exact opposite from lessons with the Frisco School of Music! Thank you! I look forward to many more years of quality lessons! more

I like my piano lessons because my teacher makes it fun. I plan on taking lessons for several years and this is where I am going because many of my friends have been here before and they said its great. more

I took lessons with a company offering in-home lessons before coming to the Frisco School of Music.  Although they offered the convenience of in-home lessons, the quality of their teachers was lacking.  They charged less too, but the teachers I got didn't seem to know what they were doing (and we tried several).  I have received the exact opposite from lessons with the Frisco School of Music! Thank you! I look forward to many more years of quality lessons! more

Kids Love It. 9/20/2010

This school is such a great find. They were able to schedule both of my children at the same time on two different instruments. The teachers and staff are always helpful and I can sit in on the classes so I can see what is being taught. This is really great because as you know, sometimes when you ask a child what they learned in the lessons you will get ""Nothing or I don't know"". This way I can help them at home during their practice time. Overall, music has given our children self-confidence. It has also given them self-discipline at home and in school, especially in their schoolwork. more

Day Rockerz Camp 7/27/2010

My son recently attended the Day Rockerz Camp in Frisco. A few things. As a drum player, he was given no personal instruction. While I realize these aren't individual classes at this camp, there should have bene some instruction going on. \r \r Also, on the itinerary it states personal instruction for an hour each day. It also states a 'History of Rock' instruction. The dvds were broken they said so they never showed that. \r \r Essentially we paid $350 for him to jam with 4 other kids for 5 days from 9-3. I felt like it was more of a glorified babysitter that was too expensive for what it was. Pros: Play in band setting Cons: No personal instruction more

Lack of compassion in business practices 4/21/2009

When your child is physically unable to play an instrument for several months due to an unexpected surgery to repair severed nerves and tendons in his hand, the Music Conservatory of Texas in Frisco requires that you pay for lessons for those months anyway. They have no exceptions to their policy, and say it is "just business". Business policies should include doing what is right and showing compassion for the children they teach. more

Best music school in the area bar none! 1/2/2009

My son has been attending the Music Conservatory for the past 4 months and I am so impressed with their caring instructors and professional facility. My son was playing the guitar from his first lesson and continues to improve rapidly. We can't wait to sign him up for DayRockerZ in the summer. We are so proud him and all his hard work. They even have piano lessons for my little one when she's ready to begin learning an instrument! more

Wonderful Place to Learn Music 1/2/2009

My son totally loves the music school and his teacher. I've visited gymboree and kindermusik classes prior to going to this music school. Honestly, there is absolutely no comparison. I think the teachers inspire children's love for music and sound. They are kind and patient to kids. Kids really do learn something here about music. Most importantly, they learn to love and enjoy music while feeling good about themselves. Pros: Great Parking and Great Service Cons: None Yet! more
