Frieze Ice Cream Factory

Stopped in on a hot January day and was amazed by the quality of ice cream. The key lime pie ice cream was amazing, as was the grape & nuts ice cream. We didn't try any of the sorbets, but they looked amazing. The staff was friendly and let us sample almost everything before deciding. more

Steve's Pizza is one of Miami's best-kept secrets. This hole in the wall is home to Miami's best pizza. They have a vested interest in their customers, which is evident by all the pictures on the wall. Their special tomato sauce is what makes their pizza so good; you don't even need toppings because it's great as is. The concept is simple, good pizza at a good price; however going there is definitely an experience. I would recommend Steve's for anyone looking for just plain and simple great pizza. more

I really enjoy the ice cream and interesting sorbet flavors the frieze has but it can be a little expensive or at least give bigger scoops. The employees that work there are really nice and the guys are cute and kind... one of the main reasons me and my friends go there haha : ) I recommend the frieze to anyone visiting Miami. The only con I have to say is its probably best to go when that lady that owns the place is not there. She is a little rude and doesn't allow the employees to have a conversation with you after you paid for your ice cream. It really takes away that good personal feeling and makes it seem as if they just want your money... I like to hang around and talk while enjoying my ice cream! The frieze does in fact have fabulous tasting ice cream, however, the owners of the place are not honest. Lisa, the owner, does not make sure that her ice creams are totally kosher. Her dairy and parv products are often mixed, as are the scoopers. For those who really wish to keep Jewish tradition, the Frieze is not recommended. The frieze is the best ice cream store i have ever been too. No other place i have gone to get ice cream or sorbet has the quality of the frieze, I recomemd all of my family friends and strangers go inside, say hi to William and ask for a sample of any of their ssorbet flavors, and i promiss they'll get hooked.
