Just being ready to quit drinking isn't enough. AA is a God-send when getting dry, and the Friendship House is a place of peace, compassion, understanding, and help. If you need help, get help. The Friendship House is a good place to start. What more is there to say?
Pros: AA is the best group to be in when one is ready to get sober and stay sober.
