My husband and I got married in April 1999 at the center gazebo, had our reception in one of the smaller gazebos and had our pics taken at the waterfall. We bought a brick with our names on it that is in the walkway to the waterfall. Every year we go back and have our pic taken in front of the waterfall. more

Friendship Gardens 12/25/2007

I found this quaint little park during an evening drive and thought it would be a wonderful place to have an outdoor wedding...and in 2001, my son was married in this gazebo...the pictures are beautiful inside the gazebo and in front of the waterfall.....and once again in 2006, we gathered as a family to take pictures in this gazebo and in front of the waterfall!!...what a beautiful little park in such a quiet little area.. Beautiful location for wedding!! 8/7/2005

A few years ago, we found this very beautiful Friendship Gardens in Plainfield when we were looking for a place to get married. I was so lucky to find this park! There is a nice Gazebo which is perfect to have weddings. The Gazebo has 3 rooms, like 3 gazebos are connected together. There is also a fountain waterfall near by. We took wedding photos in front of this waterfall. According to Plainfield's website, about 75 people can sit with chapel seating inside the Gazebo. If you need a place to have wedding, this Frendship Gardens is worth checking! more
