The doctor and staff are nice an super efficient. They seem to value the patents' time which I love, since I hate to wait in doctor's offices. Dr Friedman is a terrific doctor. He cleared up my rash within two weeks. He loves to teach people about chemicals to reverse sun damage and Zinc to protect from future damage. He gets pretty excited about the products he sells, but I didn't feel I HAD to buy from him. I'll admit I spent some money in the office, but my skin looks so much better than it did when I started with him, that I couldn't be happier! more

I went to Dr. Friedman once in July for a small wart and a rash on my back. He gave me a prescription for the back rash and sent out a culture to make sure no infection. He froze the wart off with a q-tip. Two zaps. I was literally in and out the front door within 15 minutes, maybe 8 with the doctor. They billed my insurance $315 and me $289. I thought it was a mistake. I've never been billed so much for so little. The only woman I could speak to in billing was rude and insensitive (seemingly actually put the phone down and walked away) and would not help. I would not go back. Epilogue: Diana in billing called back saying she spoke to doctor and they would take $50 off. It helped but still overpriced I feel. Pros: Doctor is personable Cons: VERY expensive and horrifi more

Doctor Friedman is an excellent doctor who has cleared my complexion after no other doctor could. I saw the complaint about the staff, but I think they are great and very friendly. Once an office has sold the debt to a collection agency they have no control over what happens, at least that's true in my dental office. Pros: Wonderful Doctor more

Just wanted to chime in here. They have THE ABSOLUTE WORST billing practice and they only care about money and not the patient. Laura is a joke and completely uncaring to the patient. I went to Friedman years ago...and also referred 3 friends. After being a pateint of his for 2 years I fell on hard times and asked to make payments. However, they would not allow it and said my insurance company had already paid. They ended up sending my bill to collections and would not work with me, even AFTER i paid the bill in full they would not take it off my credit report. I highly HIGHLY suggest you find a better dermatologist who cares about his patients and not just nickle and diming them. Shame on you dr. friedman, shame on YOU. more
