There's really no better wine and liquor store in Peoria than Friar Tuck's. In addition to the upscale atmosphere of the store, Friar Tuck's has an extremely impressive selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Employees are very friendly and extremely helpful if you have questions. The store also has a nice selection of gift items relating to wine appreciation. more

Not your average liquor store 2/17/2006

Though Peoria prides itself on being your average American city (hey, if it plays in Peoria....), Friar Tuck's is by no means your average liquor store. I was thoroughly impressed with both the selection and price of wine, beer, and spirits available in this gourmet liquor store. Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly, but not overbearing and looming over your shoulder. FT also has an impressive stock of fine glassware, wine accessories, and gift items for the sommelier-at-heart. I love this store and make a point to visit every time I'm in town. more
