Super Atmosphere! 8/13/2010

Halibut and chips delicious! My husband had the pasta special with salmon, halibut and rockfish - looked and tasted divine...and an equally spectacular view, even though it was raining. Otters, loons, birds and boats. The simplicity of the intimate dining room adds to the atmosphere. I would not recommend for small children. more

Great New Homer Restaurant on the Spit 7/2/2006

Tonight was our first night in Homer. Since it's the July 4th weekend, it's very busy. So - we trolled around looking for a place and the Fresh Catch Cafe caught our eye. It's one of the obviously new places this summer in the first boardwalk / pier area on the right next to Frosy Bear's Ice Cream. The service was great - two nice young girls - and quick - we had a bowl of chowder within 2 minutes of entering the restaurant. Amy and I both had the pasta with shrimp and halibut - delicious. Simple, quick, relatively inexpensive - and healthy. We'll be back. more
