After multiple phone calls, I finally talked to a person who mailed out the necessary paperwork to start the process to get my daughter's permit and driving lessons. Trying to save time, and since the location was close, I thought I would return the paperwork in person--especially since her birth certificate was needed. Get to the office, and no one is there. Call to verify that I am in the right place, only to be told that no one will be there till 1 pm and then he will only be in and out because he has a lesson to give and I should just leave all the paperwork in the lock box with their Suite number on it--the lockbox that is outside the building. When I asked if there was a time I could meet someone in person and give it to them, I was told that would be difficult because he has so many lessons to give. Still not sure what I am going to do here, but I think it is ridiculous to ask people to leave an original birth certificate and a permit form containing a social security number in a lockbox outside a building. And the building is not in a very populated area. Even when I went in to look for their office, it was not marked, and the one person I did find to ask had no clue where the office was!!!!!!! Doesn't make me feel very safe.
