I loved the cheese dip (ordered a bowl for $6.50). But the service we had sucked. Our server was friendly - but he didn't know anything about the food at all. We asked him what kind of cheese was the cheese dip - he had no idea. We asked him what came with one particular entree -- and he couldn't say. We asked him which beers they carried -- he had to look at the menu and couldn't make a recommendation. He was nice and did go to the kitchen to get the cheese dip wrapper for us. He was nice and checked on us numerous times. Except for the cheese dip, the rest of the food was just alright. I ordered the guacamole dip ($4.5). It wasn't good or bad. I also ordered the typical taco salad (crazy taco for $5.95) and I have to say even the ones at fast food places are better - but theirs was definately cheaper because it was so big. I also got the alambre, chunks of steak on skewer on a sizzling plate with cheese and mushrooms ($12.00) and didn't think it was good at all. Steak was chewy and tough. In sum, service was nice but not knowledgeable. Food was alright - not great, but not bad at all. Price was average. I will go again - but it's not at the top of my list. But I will definately reorder the cheese dip.
Pros: great cheese dip, friendly staff
Cons: server knowledge
