I tell people that if they go to Fredneck's to eat, they will be back with friends. The food is wonderful. The waitstaff are all excellent. They have wonderful salads with romaine lettuce. They have steaks, burgers, fish and salmon and prawns. You pretty much have to try everything before you settle on your favorite but the 10 oz sirloin or the sirloin steak salad are the best ones to start with. If you don't believe me, try it! Just the drive from Spokane through the beautiful Palouse countryside is worth visiting this drinking and eating establishment. The front of the building looks like an old western storefront. Inside the bar has a very casual atmosphere. We met friends there to have dinner. The 2 men in our party ordered the burgers and they were huge and chocked full of goodies. They looked like a 5 napkin burger for sure. I was almost tempted to order the fried gizzards or the jalapeno burger, but settled on the fish and chips which was the special. Very tasty and cooked perfect. The waitstaff were friendly. It was a nice relaxed, unhurried dinner.
