What happened to the wonderful Freddies we always went to? Due to illness, I hadn't been back to Freddies since New Years Eve and I was stunned Saturday Night! First of all, I wondered why there were so few cars in the parking lot. Usually, it was packed on a Saturday night. Then we had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to come seat us (we did have reservations). When we were taken to our table, the maitre' d simply pointed to a table which was blocked by a staff member talking to a customer. The menu looked horrible. The iced tea was served in Bud Light glasses which I thought was tacky for a restaurant of this caliber. And, the spaghetti sauce had a metallic taste. The gnocci were overcooked and turned to mush in my mouth. I was planning again to have our yearly birthday celebration there which consists of 12 people but have to go elsewhere this year. The waitress told me that the sauce isn't as good because they change ""cooks"" so often. Better get a chef next time
