Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Brookfield

I have been a student at the Brookfield studio for over 6 years. I always wanted to learn how to ballroom dance but was too afraid to try and had more excuses to not go than to go. Over 6 years ago, I signed up to attend a singles function at the studio(I was too chicken to go in on my own) and have been there ever since. \r I have always been treated with respect and kindness by all the staff in the studio. The atmosphere is always happy and fun and lively. While I am there, I forget about all the ""stuff"" in my life. It is my escape from reality and my seratonin fix. \r Brookfield studio and my instructors are the best in country. I have accomplished amazing things because of my training and coaching from my instructors and staff at the studio. \r If you are ""chicken"" to go in or try, push yourself to go. You will have leave with a smile on your face, a song in your heart and a spring in your step. more

I have been a student at the Fred Astaire Brookfield studio for the past eight months and am so thankful that I ever started taking ballroom lessons here. Everyone is SO pleasant, funny, and nice, and the instructors really give it their all to make sure that each lesson is productive, as well as enjoyable and fun. \r \r I love all of the opportunities here in addition to taking lessons: you can dance socially at a Friday night practice party, perform at the party, compete regionally or nationally (and travel, too!), perform on a big stage at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center in March (Dance Fantasy is the biggest performance of the year), dance at your own wedding, etc.! \r \r My life honestly changed when I set foot into the studio eight months ago. Learning to dance was something I had always wanted to do as a child, but was never allowed the opportunity. I decided to try ballroom dancing after i graduated from college and I love it. I was hooked from the minute I stepped on the dance floor. The atmosphere is intoxicating and the people are some of the best you will ever meet. Fred Astaire Brookfield is rated one of the top studios in the country. It is staffed by dancers from all ethnic backgrounds. These instructors willt ake you from not being able to dance to waltzing in no time. I been been dancing there for almost 5 years, and continue to learn on a daily basis.
