Honest auto repair. 4/20/2012

I've been going to Frecks for a couple of decades. When my kids were home, before empty nest, we used to have 5 cars. All went to Frecks for everything. Very honest folks. If it doesn't need fixing, he'll tell you so. If it does, he'll try and get it fixed for the best price. Taking your car to the shop is not fun, but at least you can be sure you won't be ripped off here - and they'll do a good job. Skilled, licensed mechanics. Pros: null Cons: null more

good service 3/29/2010

Have had Austin and team work on a number of vehicles and have always been impressed with how quickly they get you in and out. Even with no lead time, dropping off the car and picking it up in the next day or so isn't too unusual. Diagnosed carb. problem on old '70s truck so it even passed emissions back when this was required. Everyone else was at a loss as to the problem. Even provided a second opinion on a repair for free!! Pros: quick repair turnaround more

Excellent service 3/17/2010

I've been taking my cars to Austin Frecks for eight years now. My 1999 Explorer runs like a champ and my 1998 Mercedes C230 hums. Austin's honesty and integrity are beyond reproach. I've recommended him to many others and they've all been very happy with his service. Pros: Honesty, integrity Cons: none more

Any time i have had service at Frecks, they have been honest, affordable. You never have to go in there worrying if they will take advantage of you because you are a woman. Used them for years, always would go back more

Great service 10/10/2008

Don't you hate every time you get your oil changed something is needs to be replaced on your car. Well my mom did too so she started to get a second opinion. Whenever another automotive shop would tell her something was wrong with her car she would immediately take it to Frecks and Sons. They are always honest with her and majority of the time nothing needed to be replaced on her car. If something did need to be replaced Frecks and Sons were less expensive than the other shop. Because of my mom's experiences with Frecks and Sons I started to take my car to them if I ever needed any work done. They do a good job and are very helpful. more

Great and Speedy Service 10/8/2008

I brought my car here on a Saturday afternoon, and they were very willing to help me. I had called about 15 other places, and no one could help me until the next week. Frecks and Sons had me right in and out. They had great communication skills, and they only fixed what really NEEDED to be fixed to make my car run. I was really happy with their services and prices, and I will definitely go back the next time I need some car repairs. more

Good Honest Work 10/31/2005

This is definitely a place to take your cars. They have done a lot of work on my Prelude and they are very knowledgeable. I wouldnt use friendly as a description though. I had the timing belt replaced on my prelude when my brother owned it and they did the work. Then when I owned it, the belt broke, with 10,000 miles or so on it. They were more than willing to do the work to repair the car, since the belt was bad. more
