Fraternal Order of Eagles

My husband Len is a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and we just love it. It is located just west of U.S.19, on the corner of Gulf and Leisure Lane. There is plenty of parking to the front, side, and rear of the building. You have to be a member of the fraternity or go with a spouse that is a member. You are allowed to take guests up to 3 times, then they must join. There are dinner/dances on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We try to go twice a week. The food can be hit or miss so we tend to just go for the dancing. It costs $2 a person. There is a large bar, plenty of televisions, pool tables, and dart boards. A nice stage and a very large dancing area. There is another big room to the side that is used in the winter months, when our 'snow birds' return. Florida is a non-smoking state, but as this is a club, you will find people smoking. Everyone is made to feel very welcome so I would suggest looking for an Eagles near you. more

The Fraternal Order of Eagles, an international non-profit organization, unites fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills, and by promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. This Aerie is full of entertainment. Monday, Thursday and Friday there is live music. Tuesday nights there is a dart tournament. Wednesday night is Ladies night Saturday there is pool, darts and a poker raffle. Sundays there is shuffleboard. Most nights there is food laid on. They have a great membership and the Officers, Trustees and helpers work hard to make everything go smoothly. There is a monthly magazine with all the activities on. If you wish to attend you must be signed in by a member. more
