Frasinetti's Winery & Rstrnt

We received a complimentary coupon to this place from our Toyota dealership, Toyota of Elk Grove. As soon as we walked into this restraurant the waiter started hassling us about the coupon. We laughed about this because it was well within the validity dates. He flat out told us that his manager would not accept this coupon and walked away. He returned to our table with another coupon. He stated my manager feels bad about this. He said his manager said to give us another coupon for a free dinner when we returned. After he left I read the coupon and it was good for 1/2 off a second meal purchase. We chuckled at this. We by no means rely on coupons when chosing a place to dine at. We figured we'd give it a shot since we were already there. Bad decision the food was terrible. The pre meal bread was cold and looked and tasted like the french bread you would purchase at a Safeway for a buck and a half. I chose the Lobster Alfredo, a Ceasar Salad and my wife had the Baked Halibut. Be advised if you want soup or salad with your meal they make you pay extra for it. The portions are less than half of the size one would expect to receive at say an Olive Garden restraurant. The Lobster Alredo was horrible. It was rubbery and the sauce tasted like something out of a can. My wife's fish was under cooked. we both didn't finish out meals and left both coupons on the table. We will never return. I honestly felt like I was robbed eating at this place. You've been warned. Pros: What pro? This place is horrible. Cons: Everything. The poor customer service and the food was less than average. more

I went there for the first time for my boyfriend's work. His boss held a Christmas dinner there for his employees and their guest. It was out in the middle of nowhere. I just remember a dark road and a few houses...then I saw some bright lights in the distance. When we got there, oh my goodness...I couldn't believe how a pretty place like this could be hidden from the city. Inside was lively, the decorations were so right for the restaurant. The appetizer was delicious! I couldn't get enough of the grilled brie cheese. I had the sicilian chicken fettuccine as my main course, delicious. It was a free dinner and two free drinks from the bar. I would definantly go back. The servers were great, everything was clean. Highly recommend it. Especially for a special occasion. Writing this now, brings back the good memories from that night. more

Frasinetti's has the BEST food!! The atmosphere is that of an old winery!! Their own regional brand of wines is great, wonderful service, delicious food at a great price - how can you beat that? Plus, you never have to wait for a table - even on a Friday or Saturday night!! The last mile to the restaurant seems deserted, but it's soo worth it!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE - especially their salmon risotto - yum O!! more

I absolutely LOVE this place - excellent service, cozy environment - the food here is sooooo good - love the salmon risotto! Everyone I take here falls for this rustic charming place - a definite must in the Sacramento region! Pros: Great prices and love this place! Cons: the bathroom could be upgraded a little more

i recently went atteneded a party there and was very impressed with the facilities. they did everything just right - from the decoratioins, to the food, to the entertainment. this is one nice place. we had a lot of the different wines that night, i think the standout was the chardonnay. we ended up purchasing a couple of bottles for our guests and they have since been trying to find the wine in their city - unsuccessfully. more
