Time to clean up and redecorate. Dirty. Pizza crust like cardboard. Had better pizza at Little Caesar's. Service slow.

Good Pizza., be ready to wait. Old bag at register is a nasty b***H. She steals your pizza for carryouts 1st, makes eat ins wait. when you go to pay your bill, she takes carryouts first even if they just walked in the door! Excellent pie 5/20/2009

Tiny joint, no frills except a brew if you want one. Smoking section 5 feet from the non.no plastic or checks, the old broad at the register looks over you tab for 3 min. Like your a criminal, but all in all you can't beat the pizza! It is hands Down the best Downriver! more

Awesome pizza 9/11/2008

My fiance and I have lived in Wyandotte for 3 years and decided to try Frank's one night. First they do not take credit cards, but that was ok because there is an ATM right down the road. There were a lot of people there for a Tuesday night, and you can seat yourself. It was small, dark and pretty old - reminded me of a sit-in, hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. But still cozy like a little downtown pizzeria should be. Pros: Pizza, service Cons: Some things can be pricey, does not accept credit cards, inside not much to rave about more

nothing to special 6/18/2007

i have live in wyandotte for 30 years and have given franks a try about every 5 years to see if like. and 30 and counting, the pizza is ok but the last few times it has been overly greasy and burnt, i also has not been ready when i went to pick at the promised time(pick up because they do not deliver) also they do not take credit cards or to my surpise offer a take home menu to look over and hang on the fridge. Pros: located in downtown, very large pizza vs chians same size Cons: cash only, pick up only, wait time, lack of take home menus, very dark inside like a bar more

Best Pizza in Detroit Area, No Glitz or Glamour, Just Great Food and Great Pizza 2/4/2007

I've been going to Frank's for years, it's consistently excellent. The crust is awesome - thin, crispy where it needs to be, yet moist and chewy. Always the freshest ingredients, not loaded up with grease. Once you try Frank's pizza, you'll never look at the chain pizza places the same. If you want to look beyond the pizza, they serve great pastas and other things - this isn't a one dimensional restaraunt if you know what I mean. If its too crowded to get a seat, try R.P. McMurhphy's down the street, or Portofino's - the food at R.P.'s is excellent, but you might want to be dressed appropriatley to go to Portofino's. Downtown Wyandotte is a great dining destination that not too many people out of the Dowriver area realize, it has something to please everyone. I believe the Pizza is complimented by two key features. One, the crust is thin and delicious. Two, the pepperoni is awesome. It's a very simple pizza that can't be beat in the Detroit area. Pros: flavor, service, price Cons: parking, needs upgraded inside more

Remember Pizza Before the Chains? 4/8/2005

People go to Frank's for one reason: the pizza. This is pizza like it used to be before the chains killed it: cheesy, greasy, and delicious. I recommend the deluxe with extra cheese. Frank's has been around forever, and so have some of its patrons! It fills up early, particularly on weekends, so call and get a pie or two to go. The interior comforts are no great shakes anyways. waiting 9/29/2004

I have tryed Franks twice for the benifit of a doubt, but while the Pizza was good the service was highly lacking. It took 40 minutes to get 2 slices of garlic bread and 45 minutes ontop of that to recieve the pizza the first time. The second time I called my order and tryed to pick it up an hour later, and still waited 40 minutes more. All though the pizza was tastey unless you like to wait I say remeber to call in your order, or go someplace else. Pros: pizza Cons: , service, waiting more
