Franks Lakeside Svc

I brought my car in to Franks thinking that my started motor had gone out, but after a few minutes they called me up again and told me that after cleaning off my battery terminals it started right up. They only charged me for a diagnostic. Very fair and honest. more

Three different people recommended me to take my car to Frank's at different times. I took the advice and have been so grateful. Turns out I was out of gas and the meter didn't show. Frank charged me for the two gallons of gas that he put in it, and nothing more. \r \r Another time, I took my car to get the oil changed and was told that both CV axles were broken. I took it to Frank's to have the repairs done and he told me that one was slightly cracked, but didn't necessarily need to be fixed yet, and the other was fine. I didn't do the work then, and later (about a year) when I did fix the CV axle he charged me exactly what he said he would, explained exactly what he did, and had it done before he said he would. \r \r Anyway, the point is, I would recommend Frank's Lakeside to my 90 year old grandma without question. It's too bad that more people are not honest like Frank, but I will keep going to Frank's and will recommend as many people as I can. Perhaps others will notice that more

I had the fuel pump on my 1987 Ford go out a few months ago, and the tow truck driver suggested this place. I didn't know anything about them, but overall, I was impressed with the service. Frank called me the next morning and told me what was wrong, and quoted me about $250 for the job. The car was done, as promised, by that afternoon for me to pick up. Frank was there when I picked the car up, and he was very friendly and helpful. He explained exactly what the charges were for (new filter, sock, etc.). I have had no trouble since. PROS: good service CONS: none more
