Inexpensive, high quality diner food in a fun train car! 10/10/2010

This usually isn't the kind of food I opt for, but the quality is great and the food is cheap. I highly recommend the breakfast! more

Very busy early 11/7/2007

Frank's has really great food; the waffles are fluffy, the hot chocolate is piled high with whipped cream and tiny chocolate chips, and the BLT on sourdough is probably the best I've ever had. Nothing I tried here was heavy and greasy but beware the portion sizes are pretty big. If you're a light eater you may want a half order. Early in the morning is especially busy and you should expect a line for a booth and even seats at the counter but in the afternoon it slows down a bit and you can easily get a table right away. Pros: Food, Service, Clean, wheelchair access Cons: Cramped parking more

Great breakfast! 8/22/2005

Franks is the perfect place on Sunday morning, if youre craving huckleberry pancakes and massive omelets. There can be a wait and its somewhat chaotic in the little train car, but the staff in the open kitchen has a great sense of humor and the food is great! Pros: Great food, Good portions Cons: Busy on weekends more

Best Breakfast 9/30/2004

The old pullman car keeps getting voted ""best breakfast in spokane"" by readers of the Inlander, and for good reason. Since it's an old railroad car, seating is tight. Since the food is better than average it's also crowded and not the cheapest place downtown. But if it's a Sunday late morning and you've got a hollow leg, Frank's is THE place to shovel down a large omlette with a plate full of fresh hashbrowns smothered in sausage gravy. Pros: Food, Service, Atmoshpere Cons: , Pricey, location more
