The ancillary staff tells a great deal about a practice.
The receptionist acts like she is doing you a favor when you sign in. There is no sense of humor or sense of trying to alleviate any fears you as a patient may have at this place. The staff members who check your weight and height aloof and clearly indicate they dislike their job. You are asked to give a urine sample and are not given any instructions, but just handed a cup with your name on it. The instructions for giving a clean urine sample are on the back of the bathroom door and the staff says nothing about this. Frankly, they don't care/ What about clean urine catch have you missed? Then you are told to put your sample behind a door in the bathroom. The staff member who handed me my urine cup acted insulted when I corrected the pronunciation of my last name. The office ambience is outdated.
The only positive remark is : the doctor and nurse that I saw were very nice. This is after you deal with the ancillary staff. However, I had to ask to see a physician after dealing with nurse practitioners for two years which I felt were forced on me when I went to this clinic. This must be about saving money, ya' think? There is something better than this place in Nashville. Overall: outdated , makes the patient feel like yet another rat on a wheel.
