Frankie's Ribs are most definitely the best in the state. There is nothing like ribs with the meat falling right off of the bone. Great FOOD and DRINKS.A+

Yuk. I don't even eat those at home. They would do better to serve frozen green beans. The baked potato....boring. You could do better at home. Don't waste your money. Pros: null Cons: null more

Satisfactory 8/25/2006

Frankie's was an ok dining experience. I wasn't dissapointed but I wasn't thrilled. If you want to go to a nice comfortable resturaunt that is low key and easy to get into this is your place. Pros: The food was pretty good Cons: I didn't feel like I was in an extreemly clean environment more

This restaraunt has a unique flavored BBQ sauce that is great for the timid but if you are a true robust BBQ fan it will be lacking.\r The Onion Loaf they seem to pride themselves on was difficult to eat and a poor impersonation of an awesone blossom.\r The ribs were cooked well but the chicken ssemed to be boiled and not grilled.\r The sides seemed to be prepacked and not fresh. The beans tasted as if they were taken straight out of a busch beans can and micorwaved. PROS: Good ribs.... At least the name suits them "Place for Ribs.. and thats it" CONS: All sides were not fresh tasting. more

Great Ribs 6/19/2006

I went to Frankie's because my dad has been talking about it forever and to be honest I wasn't all that impressed. The ribs were very tender and tasty, but I really did not like their BBQ sauce at all. It tasted a lot like apple sauce, rather then the sweet and spicy BBQ that I prefer. I will say thought that the service was very good and the steak my brother had was VERY good! PROS: great ribs CONS: poor BBQ sauce more

Great ribs 10/11/2005

I think this is the correct address. This place was wonderful...very unassuming and laid back atmosphere. I really enjoyed dinner here, the ribs were very flavorful and I loved the pulled pork plate (my favorite). We take family get togethers here, and we have a picky 4 year old...he will eat anything on the menu and polish his plate. The corn muffins are out of this world. There are never any left when we eat here, we clean them all out. more

If you want good ribs, go here. There is no match for this place. They have everything from burgers to steaks to hot dogs for the little ones. There is nothing bad about Frankies more

Frankie's never fails to deliver the most delicious, tender, falling-off-the-bone ribs in VA Beach or anywhere else. And their Cornbread! Like Chris Rock says, Ain't nothin' wrong with that. Pros: Great Early Bird Menu, Free Parking more
