I don't usually write reviews but I too had a bad experience at this dental office and would not recommend him. He was really nice and friendly the first time I was there but not so nice the second visit, especially when I asked him to review the charges with me. more

I agree with other reviewers. He is nasty and doesn't do such a great job. Left me in the chair for a long time while he spoke on he phone. Pros: decent office, parking in back Cons: nasty man more

I agree with other reviewers, I don't really recommend this dentist. I went to his office three times, once for a cleaning and twice for a cavity. He was really nice the first 2 times but then very nasty the 3rd time. The receptionist was very sweet, but everyone else was not. I had a billing question and was directed to Olivia who just awful. Not sure what's going on in that place but I won't be going back. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because so far the work he did on my teeth seems to be ok, although the 1st tooth he filled hurt for a long time after I had it done. It finally eased up. Nevertheless i don't really recommend this guy. Pros: parking, easy to get an appointment Cons: nasty staff more

I went to Dr. Frankel twice and I decided I won't be going back for the same reasons the other reviewers noted. Pros: none compared to other dentists Cons: don't trust him more

Only went once but didn't have a great experience. The office messed up with my insurance info and I had to wait a long time until the problem was corrected. Pros: Office ok, good location Cons: problems with insurance/billing more

I agree with other reviewers, nice man seemingly until you start asking a lot of questions, ESPECIALLY about cost, or if you want to know more about a procedure. I was not impressed with him or his office staff. more

My wife and I both went to this dentist and both didn't like him. He did an ok job on the teeth, although he was a bit odd when discussing the procedure and seemed annoyed when I asked questions. Also, I agree that his billing practices are questionable. Pros: Clean office, convenient location, parking no problem Cons: services not great, bedside manner not great more

Do NOT go to this dentist. I think he is Bipolar because one day he is sweet as pie and the next his horrible temper comes out. While sitting in his office one day I could hear him and his assistant talking about a patient in a very unprofessional and demeaning manner. This man has 2 personalities, he tries to come off like a very nice guy but as soon as you disagree with him or ask too many questions he can turn VERY ugly. He truly did screw up my tooth but would take no responsibility for it at all. He is very money hungry, doesn't work with you at all and overcharges- for instance, last time I was there for about 20 minutes and I couldn't believe all the different procedures he charged my insurance company. In addition, he charges $40 if you request your records to go somewhere else even if all you want is the x-rays that YOU paid for. I worked for a dentist for many years and am very familiar with billing practices and I've never seen anything like this- I do NOT recommend this practice at all to anyone looking for a new dentist or for current patients- run while you can! more
