On a very hot day I started having trouble with my air conditioner. I called Millard?s and they sent a man over. He told me it was the compressor. Then he said that my air unit was an R-22 with freon and that these units aren?t manufactured anymore. He said I could either pay approximately $1,800 for a new compressor or $3,000 for a whole new 410 (non-freon) unit. This seemed high to me, so I called The Air Guy and got a second opinion. He told me that R-22 units were still being manufactured, and that he could put a whole new unit in for $1,400!! Basically, MILLARD?S LIED RIGHT TO MY FACE!! Because THEY don?t sell R-22 units they told me those units were no longer manufactured and tried to con me into buying one of their products!!
