Avoid Francis Landscaping at ALL costs! Even if they deliver for free. Invariably every time you use their service for ""a"" fix up, magically something else (which was totally functional before) breaks -- And you end up spending much much more than what you would have with 'any' other company to begin with. more

We hired Francis Landscaping to do our patio project. Jason came out to give us an estimate and he clearly knew his stuff. He got the information he needed quickly and within 24 hours he emailed an estimate. When I called to discuss more details, I spoke with Ray, who is the new owner of the company. Ray went above and beyond what other landscape companies would do. Ray came by twice on a weekend! Once to bring paver samples and again to mark out the design of the patio. He also gave us his cell phone number so he was just a phone call away whenever we had questions or concerns. The crew that showed up to do the work was very nice, though the project took a lot longer than expected. It took approximately 2 weeks when the estimate was to have it done in under 1 week. But I don't mind at all since the price didn't go up and I'd rather they take their time to do a quality job. The mason, Adam, did a fantastic job with the pavers and a flagstone bench. He was cautious and meticulous in his work and it shows in the final product. I have no hesitation when recommending Francis Landscaping for landscaping projects. I have a long list of complaints, which when I brought up with them, I was blown off, repeatedly for months. They only want to use the same plants they use over and over again. If you don't want knock-out roses or dogwoods, just forget it. Though we marked out with flags where shrubs/trees should be sited, they were way off when installed. When they finally came back to consult about correcting the situation, they could not be bothered to take notes! Their plant guarantee involves taking out the plant and putting in one of lesser value. And to top it off, I have had plumbing issues from their machines running over my buried pipes, and needed to replace that. My experience with Jeff Francis and Francis Landscaping was a great one. When we were looking for a company with which to partner in our landscape overhaul (and by overhaul I mean replanting, adding new, and including lots of stonework) Jeff and company did a great job! From Jeff's vision for our yard, through the quoting process (we had 5 re-quotes with this company as WE not THEM tweaked the plan and every time the quotes were spot on), to the upkeep of the site during work (I always came home to a respectable site in progress with only James, our PM, to thank for that) to the follow-up to ensure all was well when done we could not have been more pleased. Even when we thought there was a leak in piping caused by Francis Landscaping Jeff had crews come out on several occasions to dig looking for the leak. As it turned out, the issue was from when the builder installed the piping to our main feed and had nothing to do with Francis Landscape - regardless, Jeff and company looked to make it right (and at NO COST to us). I can't say enough about the work that Francis Landscaping did for us. So much so that we've hired them for upkeep for the coming year! Aside from our yard being a complete disaster we have an extremely active dog! Francis came in and designed not only a great looking yard but more dog friendly than we could have dreamed of. Our dog loves his new yard and we love that he doesn't track mud in the house anymore. Francis not only created a great layout they also gave us great prices and went over every price before they charged us a dime. The foreman on the job was extremely helpful and over saw the job even after the job was complete. Francis has continued to call to be sure that everything is to our satisfaction. I used Francis for an irrigation job on my house, after receiving several estimates, their estimate came in the least expensive. I guess you get what you pay for in this case. Although the job was installed professionally and on time, I had several issues with them during and after the job.
