I've read all the reviews on this frame shop, and seen all the Best of Boston rewards, but what is clearly missing here is some basic customer courtesy. The snobbish attitude was overwhelming. No, I don't own a Monet, but rather a small oil painting I purchased several years ago at a Newbury Street art gallery. The frame was never right, and when I asked for a few suggestions, the choices that were shown to me by the owner were several times higher than what I paid for the painting. When I asked for a few less expensive alternatives, the owner became visibly offended. It was at this point he ceased any further suggestions, so I gathered up my painting and quietly left the store. Of course, just as I was leaving, someone whom the owner knew well had just arrived with a large painting, and after several kisses and hugs, was promptly given the royal treatment. The nerve!
Cons: No parking; no service
