I have just had a similar experience with Cliff Edwards. I purchased a refurbished HK P7 from him which he described as ""NRA conditions exceeding 90%"". After purchasing the gun and doing a more thorough inspection, I realized that it was not in this condition. To avoid redoing all of the paperwork, we agreed to a refund of a portion of the sale price. That was 12 days ago. He has given me numerous excuses as to why he hasn't been able to issue my refund. I have contacted his local police department, and plan to contact the B B B and the NRA since he is using their name to rip people off. Avoid ""Cost Club for Guns"" / ""Fox River Guns"" at all costs. I am local to him, and have been to his house. If he is willing to do that to me, I can't imagine what he would do to internet customers on other sides of the country. I am also wanting to warn all those that have or will purchase a firearm from Cost club for guns,fox river guns, or Local Mailers. (AKA) Cliff Edwards. Similar I found the listing in GUNSAMERICA for Olympic Arms K-16 AR-15 *Listing 983883943 from cost club for guns. THe approate paperwork was sent along with a check for local mailers and FFL. I even checked thier FFL to ensure proper shipping. Same story as the other. the check was cashed, the gun was water damaged and unable to get another one from the distributor. A refund was offered and apparently sent (HA HA HA) to my work address. I have now checked every day with e mails and calls to Cliff with no responce. He has recieved my e mails as I have had them tracked. Basically Cliff is a Fraud and I warn all those that are going to buy from him to not to. I learned$ 700+ my lesson and have filed a inerstate frad report with his local police department as well as mine. Only time will tell to see if he is going to come through.
