Fox Ridge Dental Assoc

I actually was not going to go in to Fox Ridge dental , reading all the reviews made me think. I thought i would give it a shot. I went in to get the paper work and every one was friendly . I decided to make an appt . As i was having a tooth ache. Any who they got me in the very next day and went over the plan and how much it was costing me WITH MY INSURANCE. And i think that is the problem with all these other people they do not know their own INSURANCE and thus causing all these problems. I think Ruthie was great with the way she explained everything. People need to understand their own insurances and know their own coverage. ITS common sense !! Anyways i ended up needing a rt canl and crown Dr meta was great . Office is beautiful and would recommend anyone here. Thank you fox ridge more

I went for a basic cleaning after being told everything is covered by insurance, they sent me a bill of $89 dollars. Reason being - panoramic xray was not covered by my insurance. They already had all my x-rays and I did not see any reason for they doing the panoramic xray. This is simply to charge the patients and make money. I negotiated with them and settled for $40 more

I went in for a toothache and walked out with a proposed $3000 worth of work that needed to be done. It was ridiculous. The reason I know they are money hungry is that I just went to another dentist who told me everything was fine just minimal work needs to be done. I was also told that secondary insurance ""is useless"" that they don't submit to secondary. I've always had secondary and it was never a problem. Their billing dept and rep has the WORST attitude and when you go in for your appt its almost like they are doing you a favor by checking you in. The lack of professionalism between office staff and dentists is less than desirable. They definitely want to see your wallet before they touch your teeth! RUN RUN RUN to anywhere but here! This practice shouldn't even be a open the only thing they practice is how to rake you over the coals to get more money! more

You couldn't pay me to go back to this practice. I have been greatly overcharged through the years. We found a new dentist that is quite wonderful and has told us that we were told that we needed work done that was very unnecessary and expensive. I wish I had made the switch earlier. If you are thinking of trying them all I can say is RUNNNNNN!!! more

I have been to many dentist for dental work and ended up hiding a smile until I went to Fox Ridge Dental in Limerick, PA. The staff, being very busy, took time to help me feel at ease. Dr. Hoorfar, a perfectionist, made sure every step was completed correctly and that I left that office with a big smile. Dr. Medah was so attentive and did excellent work. Everyone in that office gets a 5 Star rating from me. I highly recommend them if you want quality dental care. Pros: Polite, compassionate, resourceful, supportive Cons: In all honesty, I cannot think of a single one. more

I've gone to Fox Ridge Dental once before and was impressed with the office and dentist. However, I went back for a 6 month checkup and things changed. The girls ( I mean Young girls) in the reception area were blasting Q102 in the office and just weren't professional and conforting to someone who doesn't want to be there in the first place. It is a dentist office not a club. The women who cleaned my teeth was fine. When she was finished the ""Dentist"" came in and poked at my teeth for under a minute, told me everything was fine and left. I now know I was the last appointment of the day and they just wanted to clean up and leave. I did make a 6 month check up for the morning and I'll give them another try, But if my experience is the same I'll be finding a grown up office to go to. I would not at all recommend this practice. The ladies at the front desk are very nice, but are not knowledgable AT ALL about insurance, details on treatments, etc. They are so short staffed there that it takes forever to speak with one of them either on the phone or in the office. I was told my insurance covers the procedure (I had my insurance guy on the phone and he even told me the code they needed to put in) they STILL said it wasn't covered and sent me a bill!! They also have continually said they were doing one procedure to my kids and then did another.. One of the worst was they did a full root canal on one of my kids without even telling me... I thought it was a routine cavity ($4 co-pay), but instead I had to pay $485!! and that was for only Half of the procedure!!! They take no regard for the fact that people are struggling now more than ever, and that we need to know about these things before they are done to us or our children!! I willl Not go back!!! I wanted to post and let everyone know Fox Ridge Dental is a wonderful dental office. The staff is extreamly helpful, and educated in their area of expertise. Dr. Hoorfar, and Dr. Mehta are very helpful, and professional. I have been a patient for a longtime, and although there maybe new faces, the long time employees are still around (Meredith, Alana, and Shirley), they have been promoted, and now seem to take on the responsiblity of mentoring the new staff, and making sure things run smoothly.\r If you are looking for a nice dental office to visit, be sure to schedule an appointment. Pros: The office is beautiful, the doctors and staff are fantastic! Cons: Too bad there aren't more dental offices like this one. more

Only went there once and would not go back again. Had a very bad experience getting a cavity replaced. Would not recommend at all! more

I USE TO GO THERE WHEN THEY FIRST OPENED UP, IT WAS A HORROR!! EVERYTIME I WENT TO GET THIS PROCEDURE DONE I GAD SOMEONE NEW DOIN IT. I HAD A DISPUTE ABOUT A BILL BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME THAT MY INSURANCE WOULD PAY FOR IT BUT IT DIDN'T. NO MATTER WHO I TALKED TO THEY WOULDN'T LISTEN. BAD EXPIERENCE. \r THREE YEARS LATER AND MY CREDIT REPORT MESSED UP BECAUSE OF IT, I GO BACK AND THIS VERY NICE YOUNG LADY LANNA LISTENED TO WHAT I HAD TO SAY. SHE WORKED THINGS OUT FOR ME, SENT A LETTER TO THE CREDIT ANGENCIES,AND NOW I'M BACK THERE WITH MY KIDS. IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, I WOULD BE IN COURT RIGHT NOW WITH THEM. I recently visited Fox Ridge Dental and was extremely satisfied with my visit. I was greeted with a staff of energetic and caring people who were anxious to help me. \r Dr. Zhang was my dentist and she was very sweet. She was also very knowledgeable about the treatment and went over several options with me. Although there was a language barrier slightly, she did not hesitate to make sure that I understood. \r I would strongly recommend this practice for you dental needs. more

I am very disappointed with the Fox Ridge Dental Assoc. You can never get someone to answer the phone. It took me 5 tries before I was able to make an appt. When I did get my appt. I saw first hand how they just let the phone ring. I am also very appalled at the professionalism at this office. I called to comment on the not being able to understand the Dr. (very poor english) and I was told ""wow"". I explained to them that I am paying for a service and that I expect to be able to understand the Dr. When I asked for the ladies name, since she basically was laughing at my comment, she hung up on me. I would not recommend this Dental practice to anyone. Very, very, very poor. This dental practice needs to understand that they are providing a service that the customer pays for. No professionalism was tough to this dentist!\r I called the office because my front tooth were I had a Vanier fell off. This was on a Friday and I had a busy weekend planed. I go to the office and this irresponsible doctor only took 5mins to give me what she herself said was a temporary fix! I?m going to compare this to going to a mechanic and them admitting to you that they are only going to give you a temporary fix so that your car will brake down and you have to come up with the money to get it fixed! She actually said this to me about my tooth!!! Needless to say her temporary fix fell off the next day! She was very unprofessional and told me to go to work to come up with the money to get it fixed! All this without knowing who I am, what I?ve been through for months now, or why I?m currently not working. I already called my insurance and have selected another office, I just want everyone to know that this office has a very heartless and unprofessional dentist on board.
