Have always had great service!

Worst

the staff there was nice, but dr. girgis provided the worst vet experience possible for me and my cat. i brought my cat there in 2004 at night with a concern. dr girgis went back ...

I would definitely recommend Fox HIlls Animal Hospital! 6/13/2011

I have been to fox hills animal hospital many times, and i have yet to be disappointed. The staff is wonderful, and the doctor really cares about the animals. He really knows what he's talking about and really does try to help people out with the prices. I recently took my dog to a different hospital (because they were closed) and they charged me an arm and a leg, and in the end it didn't help my dog, I then took my dog in to fox hills animal hospital and they told me what the problem was and made him feel great within a few days. I would definitely recommend going to Fox Hills Animal Hospital if you have any pets. Oh and did i mention that Dr. Girgis aka Dr. G, works with dogs, cats, and all rodents. more

Fine care from Dr. Gergis 5/15/2010

We've taken our pet to Dr. Gergis for over seven years. Called him after 7pm on a Saturday night and his receptionist put us right through. Always spends time with our dog and gives intelligent advice and treatment. It's nice to have a vet. who cares about our pet and always has a warm ""how are you doing"" ready. Pros: Caring and intelligent more

Best Vet I have ever been to Fox Hills Animal Hospital 4/10/2010

Dr. G is one of the best Vets I have ever been to! His knowledge of animals is beyond exceptional. But his compassion for the animal is beyond words! Thank you so much Dr. G for all your care and great compassion for all my animals over the 4 years I have been taking my babies to you. I have never seen a Vet with such love for my 4 Rottweilers. No muzzles for my babies with Dr. G. My babies love you! Pros: Great Service and Extreme Compassion more

worst vet on the face of the earth. do not go to him. 12/10/2009

the staff there was nice, but dr. girgis provided the worst vet experience possible for me and my cat. i brought my cat there in 2004 at night with a concern. dr girgis went back to take xrays and came out insisting on sedation to do it. sedation on a mellow 12 yr old cat... he and his manner are what needed sedation... he traumatized my cat and didn't help her at all. i wish i had walked out of there when i met him and never EVER let him touch her! the whole experience came back to me today as i called to see if they still had the xrays on file for me to take to a specialist for comparison of something currently happening with my cat. the person who answered the phone was very nice and put me on hold to check on it but the vet got on the phone and barked at me that all xrays were thrown away after 3 years. fine, but he did NOT need to sound SO angry and nasty. just wanted to let people know that he hasn't changed at all. Cons: sirly mean vet who treated my cat horribly and rough more

Fox Hills Animal Hospital is great, in Culver City 8/11/2009

Small location with great service. I had to take in my dog as she was very sick and they did everything possible, but she was just too old to save. They treated her with extreme care and stayed with us until the end. more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!! 9/9/2008

My first and last encounter with this vet was a horrible experience. I have a very sweet 12 yr-old terrier mix (Murray) and he has a recurring condition that requires a cortisone shot in the neck every 6 to 12 months. We have been to numerous caring, competent vets over the years without any type of issues and this is something he is used to. I just moved to Culver City so I unfortuntately decided to try Fox Hills as my previous vet was located in Burbank. Cons: Dr. is agressive with animals and clearly incompetent more

This is where you take your pets when you love them!!! 3/23/2007

This vet office gave me the best care I have every encountered after owning pets all of my life. My two month old puppy encounter two puppy hood diseases puppy strangles and parvo (I think that is how it is spelled) anyways both of these diseases could have taken his life. If it wasn?t for Dr. Girgis being able to identify these diseases after I had already visited another vet who did not know what to do with him. The first vet did diagnose him, gave me medicine which was not effective and was completely stumped. But when I went to Fox Hills Animal Hospital as soon Dr. Girgis looked at him he immediately told me what it was and how to help him. This was the most heart wrenching experience, my puppy looked like he had been ran over, his eyes oozed a thick white substance, his nose and mouth had developed scabs and hair loss, the sides of his face were swollen and filled with fluids. My family and I were losing hope but not Dr. Girgis, he gave us several medicines to administer twice daily and he even offered to do the medicine himself (if we couldn't stand to do it) everyday, everyday!! In the beginning it was really hard because my puppy looked so bad, we visited the office everyday but soon the visits became once a week, then every two weeks. Dr. Girgis and his entire staff were so wonderful, they were patience, sympathetic and helpful we always let their office elated and full of hope. Today my baby has fully recovered and is healthy and full of life, all thanks to the Fox Hills Animal Hospital, thanks to Dr Girgis and his staff. I have three other dogs all of which I only take to the Fox Hills Animal Hospital, I highly recommend this animal hospital Pros: the service, the staff, the knowledge, the hours more

Learn from my mistake and stay away! 10/31/2006

If there is one thing in my life I could take back, it would be going to this place. I took my cat here for a simple enema Monday night which they had told me was necessary after examining him. I was told he needs to stay there overnight even though I preferred to take him home, and that the cat will be fine. They were wrong. The next morning I get a call that THEY FOUND HIM DEAD! Apparantly noone bothered to check on him from 10 pm to 8.30 am and have no idea what happened to him. So this is their idea of overnight care, stuffing the animal in a cage, locking the doors and leaving him alone. My cat did there all alone and probably suffering and there was noone there to help him. He could've been in a better hospital getting help, or with me at home at least dying peacefully. After all this, they still charged me over $400, including ""overnight boarding""! As for an explanation, all they could tell me was ""these things happen"". This doctor may have a medical degree but apparantly no concern for the animal or compassion. I will never forgive myself for going there and letting them leave my baby to die :(( Do not make the same mistake I made! Pros: What pros? Cons: My cat being found dead after 10 hours of nobody checking in on him more
