I thought it might be nice to try FG&O as it has a great location, and I often pass it in Batavia.

The reviews here pertain to Venice Tavern (formerly Charlie Fox's). The Fox Grill is a family restaurant with an excellent fish fry on Fridays. They have a wonderful pulled pork sandwich, pot-roast sandwich and daily lunch specials on weekdays. There is also an enclosed porch for spring and summer enjoyment. They are 1 block off of the Fox River on Water Street in Batavia and do not have a lunch buffet or pizza. Thank you for your time. more

A spot on the river 8/22/2005

The Fox Grill, formerly Charley Fox's is a great place to go with a few friends or your family. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. the staff are all friendly, but someitmes the wait for food can be tiresome. you can enjoy the bar area, or sit out on the patio and screened in area right by the river. it has a great view of the depot pond and is great in the summer. more
