Fox Bay Cinema Grill

The Fox Bay is a fun way to get dinner and a movie all at once! They seem to offer more kid-friendly fare than some of the other locally owned cinemas, and often on the first floor which is easy to get in and out of with little ones if you've brought them to the movies. They also have special matinée times during common school breaks to accommodate the younger crowd. Of course, this might also lead parents to think that all of the movies are kid movies, such as the people who brought a 4 yr old who sat next to us and really did not enjoy Star Wars last summer, but that is certainly not the theater's fault! Not that they cater to children, though, they do serve booze and the menu is pizza, sandwiches and the like. Pub food, I guess. And it is a smidge pricey , but still a nice change from huge cinemas with little character. more

Fox Bay Cinema Grill is one of my favorite date night places to go. You go there for dinner and a movie. The food is a little overpriced, but it is good. One might thing it would be fun to drink during a movie, but really, when the lights are out, you could very well put yourself to sleep. It’s an awesome date night though! more
