Purchased a used Ford Explorer here, and had multiple issues: 1. Fowlerville did not inspect the vehicle prior to selling, causing issues with myself and Ford Corporate. 2. The employees are very talented at never promising anything in writing. I was verbally told that certain items would be covered by the dealership over the phone, but when I asked the dealer to confirm the details via email, the individual that I spoke with would insist that my email was not received and never replied. 3. The service department is a little ridiculous. I had to have another Ford dealership fix issues that Fowlerville Ford repeatedly missed. more

Great Experience 2/6/2014

Looked all over for a Truck with what I wanted on it. I found it at Fowlerville Ford so I drove over 100 miles to look at it. Instead I ended up driving it on home. My sales person Ken which in turn ended up being owner was great... I would recommend them to everyone. more

We bought a 2009 Ford Fusion in 2010. We specifically asked for car facts and stated that we did not want to purchase the vehicle if it had been in an accident. Presented to us was a history of the vehicle from a source similar to carfacts, which did not list any history of collision or accident. We then purchased the Premuim Extended warranty. We took this car in for maintenence, a oil change and tire alignment and also a muffled noise we were hearing. Brighton Ford informed us that the car appeared to have been in an accident, and they refused to perform an alignment stating the vehicle needed $900 in repairs in order to correctly perform an alignment. We were also told that our warranty would not cover the repairs due to that it was in an accident. We then took the car to Fowlerville where we purchased it, they refused to admit that it had been in an accident prior to sale, until we showed them the car facts stating the truth. They downplayed the damage and acted like it was no big deal. They refused to rectify the situation. We are currently contacting Ford Co. Took the car in again for maintance this week to another Ford Service Center who were very sympathetic to us. They informed us that the car had been serviced poorly post damages and should have never passed an inspection. We were told that in order to sell the premium extended warranty, the car must pass an inspection with brilliant ratings. This warranty should have never been offered to us, nor the vehicle. I would NEVER buy another vehicle from Fowlerville Ford. In the future I will always visit an auto mechanic first with the vehicle and print my own car facts. Also, they do not certify their vehicles, and they told us that by not certifying the vehicle they are able to offer them at a cheaper price. Well we now know the truth, the used vehicles on their lot would never pass the certification inspection and that is why they dont do it. So shady. more
