Been going there for years, just recently created a pull list and have not looked back since Pros: Friendly staff, great selection Cons: not open 24 hours? beyond that nada

The customer service is spotty at best, especially for such a small shop, but the stock is decent and if you have the time to wait to get rung up, it's not bad.

The best on LI 9/10/2005

The staff and owner of Fourth World are the nicest people, and they go out of their way to make you happy. They have a good selection of Japanese imports, and you'll find things here that you would never find anywhere else. My son is a huge collector and so we have gone there many times. If they dont have what he wants they will order it. They are just spectacular. more

Fourth World Comics 8/21/2005

A few weeks ago, I found myself visiting relatives out on the Island and stuck with nothing to do before dinner. My cousin mentioned that he wanted to go pick up some comic books, so we took a ride over to Fourth World Comics in Smithtown. I thought that the store's layout was superb and they had a great selection of back-issues -- even more than the store that I usually frequent does. I picked up a few issues that I couldn't get near my own house, and found a new place to stop by when I'm out that way. more

Fourth World Comics 8/19/2005

I went to Fourth World Comics when the local comic store that I frequent did not have a few of the issues of the comics that I usually get. Was it worth the trip out to Smithtown? Yes and no. They had the issues that I wanted, and they were all in good shape, but for those collectors who aren't in the area, I'd wait until your local store got whatever you wanted in. more

Great for Comics 8/15/2005

If you are looking to buy Comics the best comic shop on all of Long Island is Fourth World Comics. They have a very large selection of comics and i can guarentee that if you are into comics that you will love their store. The owners take very good care of it, and are very organized and understand what you are talking about. If they dont have something they will try to order it for you. Stop by Fourth World in smithtown and give it a shot, you will love it. more
