We love going to the Four Winds Market everytime we come down from Maryland to visit family in the Florida Panhandle. We enjoy the city of Pensecola, but what makes it even better...

This market is too high pressure sales. The owner got mad cause I was only buying one loaf of bread so he charged me 5 bucks for the same loaf I bought 2 weeks ago for 2.50. I will not be returning. I know lots of people who feel same as me and they don't go back either. Thank You! more

4 Winds International Market is Fabulous 8/6/2011

We love going to the Four Winds Market everytime we come down from Maryland to visit family in the Florida Panhandle. We enjoy the city of Pensecola, but what makes it even better is this store that is full of all sorts of flavorful foods and products. Best of all is the owner and his staff. They love their customers and love to give you a taste of all of their delicious treats. more

The Best Sandwiches on the Planet 7/18/2010

Where do I start? They have a great selection of international foods, great customer service and the most delicious cheeses and sandwiches a girl could ask for! Pros: More samples to try than time to spend there Cons: You'll walk out of there spending more than you plan! more

A must stop 1/9/2010

Wow. We've been here a few times now and as the others said, you will not leave within the price range you set but it's alright. A wonderful fun selection of delectable foods to try, many you get to try while you're there just by asking. This is the only store I go to and leave full, washed down with a few samples of delectable wine, how bad can that be. My husband and I both spent years living overseas and absolutely love coming here to find the items, fresh, that we loved in Europe. The Tabouli, chicken salad, & hummus, are terrific. Truthfully I am yet to try something that I didn't love, great marketing by James and his crew. This is a must stop if visiting Pensacola. Well worth the drive, well worth busting the budget once in a while, unless you have better will power then we do just accept it will happen and enjoy. more

International Bizarre 10/16/2008

This store is unique. I have never been to other similar stores. It is a cross between a greek deli and an international grocery store. They carry eccentric items for cooking international food like white miso paste, but they also have a deli area where they sell fabulous tabouli, hummus, dolmados, and other greek dishes. The one downside is you always leave with more than you came in with. Pros: carries hard to find ingredients, is both a deli and a market, food is delicious Cons: owner is a "salesman!" who lays on the peer pressure. more

I loved this place when I lived in Pensacola 5/30/2007

Even if you don't like pesto, you MUST try their pesto! Which will be easy because the owner always pushes samples. But don't be surprised if you walk out of there having spent three times what you'd planned...conversely, you'll love everything you purchased and the prices aren't bad.\r I tried things there that I never would have considered eating (pate, for one) and discovered a lot of new things that I now love. It's been over five years since I've lived there but I still miss the pesto. I think I might have to call and see if they'll FedEx it. more

International Food Market 11/11/2005

Four Winds has the biggest variety of imported foods and food related items that I have seen in this area. They carry both canned and jar items as well as deli selections including various wine and meat offerings. The owner is happy to help with a recipe and to make suggestions. They also have extensive wine offerings! The only problem? You are guaranteed to purchase more than you had planned! more
