Excellent experience 1/11/2011

We used Four Paws for the first time over Christmas 2010. Our normal pet sitter had to cancel on us at the last minute right before we were leaving to go out of town for the holiday. I called Lois and explained my situation. She was wonderful and Julia ( our actual sitter) was at our house within a few hours to meet our kitties. We left for our holiday feeling that our "children" were in good hands. I was even more impressed when I talked to Julia on the day after Christmas. She braved the snow and bad roads to make sure all our animals were safe and fed. I was very impressed with the compassion and professional services. We will definitely use this service again. more

Excellent Pet Sitting 12/30/2010

We just had our first pet-sitting experience with Four Paws, and we are VERY happy! My husband and I were gone over Christmas, and our usual pet-sitter was out of town. I researched Raleigh Pet Sitters online, and found very good reviews for Four Paws. I now know why, and Four Paws will be our regular pet sitter from now on! We have four dogs and three cats..... One of the cats is on end-of-life care, and I was worried about finding a pet sitter who would care enough to spend time with her and give her the attention she needs. The other two cats are long-haired and need to be brushed daily to prevent dreadlocks from forming. When we returned from our week-long trip, it seemed like we hadn't been gone at all! The dogs and cats were obviously well cared for, the long-haired cats were brushed and happy, and our end-of-life cat was doing great. A snowstorm that was supposed to be a dusting ended up dropping six inches of snow/ice while we were gone, and Helen braved the slippery roads and ice to still care for our pets twice a day. What dedication and compassion! We are very impressed with Four Paws and highly recommend the services. more

A+ Service and love for our dog! 12/19/2010

We started using Four Paws when we moved to Raleigh from San Diego about two months ago. We interviewed three petsitters and chose Jenn. It was obvious from the beginning that she was upbeat and would give our dog the love she's been spoiled with regularly! She's wonderful with Tally (our dog) and has been so reliable. We can't say enough good things. Lois (the owner) has been greatly responsive with booking our appointments and answering any questions we may have. We are thrilled with our decision to use Four Paws Petsitting and would recommend them to anyone looking for a petsitter! more

Life Safer, highly recommend 12/2/2010

We were out of town for Thanksgiving and thought a neighbor was going to check on our cats. We had been gone several days and didn't know what to do other than come home early. We called Four Paws and Lois called right back even though it was the holiday. She agreed to go over to our house and take care of our 4 cats as they had not been taken care of. I know she was skeptical since we had not met but she also seemed very concerned for our cats too. She is very caring and my family is grateful to her for taking care of our cats and going over so quickly. We learned our lesson not to rely on neighbors. more

Great, Reliable, Pet Sitter in Raleigh 11/23/2010

I just moved to Raleigh for my job and had to go back to Wilmington the very next day and didn't have anybody to walk my dog. I was really in a crunch. I called Four Paws and spoke with Lois and she made it seem like no big deal to help me right away and yes, I do mean right away. more

Four Paws has been great to work with. They are very professional and go to great lengths to accommodate your pets needs. Need to administer meds? They can do it. Take your pet to the groomer before you get home? No problem. Mid-day walks? Sure. more
