Marty Johnson is one of the most gifted dog trainers in the state! He trained a very stubborn german shorthaired pointer into a master hunter. He also raised two other GSPs and trained them to be excellent hunters. We will only leave our dogs with Marty when we go away from home. Our dogs cannot wait to get out of the truck to see their friend and trainer, Marty. He has cared for our dogs for the past 12 years, and we will continue to use his services as long as we have dogs! more

Marty Johnson's (manager) is gifted in dealing with dogs and treats them with kindness and understanding. Four Paws is impeccably clean, modern, and the dogs that visit are happy and healthy., Mr. Johnson is a gifted dog trainer and always exercises the dogs several times a day. I would recommend Four Paws Kennel and feel secure knowing my dogs are cared for during their stay. I took my daughter to Four Paws for boarding and training and I could not have been happier! Marty taught her to heel, sit and stay in a matter of minutes! That?s not a typo, she learned really fast because Marty loves his dogs, is an expert, and they want to please him. When I picked her up she was happy and clean and had obviously bonded with Marty; that?s amazing because she doesn?t like men! I plan on taking her back for a longer stay and more training this month while I?m out of town for Christmas. It feels so good to have peace of mind while I?m away, knowing that my daughter is safe and happy in a loving environment! more

I own two dogs, who have been with me for 15 and 8 years. They are not my pets, they are my Family Members. When looking for a kennel on short notice over the Thanksgiving Weekend, I found Four Paws Kennel via the internet. I called and was immediately impressed with Marty Johnson's (manager) professional and competent demeanor. While the facility was already booked out, Mr. Johnson went above and beyond and out of his way to find a suitable solution for my dogs over the weekend. Since I was still looking for a kennel facility for subsequent travels, I took time to meet Mr. Johnson and visit the kennel facility. Not only is it impeccably clean, modern, and well maintained, Mr. Johnson is a gifted dog trainer whom I would entrust my dogs to at any time. All dogs there seemed happy, clean, well fed, had adequate water and space, and their runs are just fantastic. Mr. Johnson lets the dogs run and play 5 times per day, and does so on his own merit. It is with great confidence and integrity that I recommend Four Paws Kennel in the highest manner to anyone who loves and cares for their pets the way I do. more

I feel bad for this kennel. They are getting a new manager soon - September 2009. He kept my dogs ONCE and that's all he'll ever keep them. My dogs, after less than 48 hours stunk horribly. They couldn't drink enough water when they got home. Cons: See Rajun Kennel review more
