We had yet another fantastic dinner at 4 Olives last night. I don?t always order the specials, sometimes I just cant afford them, but we did last night and they were both amazing. I had a wonderful wild salmon from Alaska, grilled and served on a bed of delicioius succatosh with fresh chanterelle mushrooms. I didn?t even know succatosh could be good, but somehow the chef put together a collection of fresh vegetables that was simply to die for! My husband had the most incredible braised short rib with a tamarind glaze. There was a risotto with tomatillos, green chiles, cilantro, and corn in it. I wouldn?t have belived it if I hadn?t tried it, wow. We also had some sort of appetizer with smoked trout, my husband normally wont eat fish, but loved it as well, nice work.
